You Are More Than One BAD Day
When days are bad and you feel burnt out and want to quit, make it a habit to repeat something to your mind.
Tell yourself that whatever burned you out or gave you stress, it only absorbed those days and those minutes, in the past. No matter how awful they were, they don’t need to claim dominion over THESE hours and THESE days, in the present.
Tell yourself that you do have a sanctuary, but it is not one to the past. It is to the “YOU” that you are becoming.
The days will come and go but each will be anchored with tiny steps. Each one is a testament to future possibilities.
Compel yourself to face forward, not backwards. These brand-new moments belong to you and you alone.
